How is your All-Wheel Drive (AWD) robotic mower better than standard 2WD models?

Our AWD system is engineered specifically for large estates. Its core advantage is superior traction and terrain mastery.  

 Whether tackling steep slopes (up to 35°), wet grass, uneven ground, or complex landscapes, the synchronized four-wheel drive delivers powerful, stable propulsion to prevent wheel spin and getting stuck. 

This ensures consistent, efficient mowing with complete coverage and no missed spots.

Does the AWD system consume more battery? How is runtime ensured?

We utilize high-efficiency motors and an intelligent power distribution algorithm. On flat, simple terrain, the system optimizes output for battery savings. 

AWD power is only boosted when resistance or a slope is detected. Paired with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery and smart charging strategies, a single charge can cover very large areas (e.g., 1-2 acres).

For large lawns, how do you guarantee mowing efficiency?

We combine AWD Power + Intelligent Navigation for maximum results:

  • Power Assurance: AWD ensures the mower keeps moving on any terrain without wasting time or skipping areas due to slippage.

  • Smart Navigation: Using GPS-assisted navigation (like RTK) or multi-sensor fusion, the robot maps your yard and executes an optimal systematic pattern (strip or spiral), drastically reducing overlap and blind spots. This makes it significantly more efficient than random-path mowers.

What about the waterproof rating and durability of the AWD system?

Core components, including the drive modules, are rated IPX6 or higher for water and dust resistance, allowing operation in rain and during garden watering. 

The chassis and key structural parts are made from impact-resistant materials. For cleaning, you can rinse the undercarriage with a garden hose (avoid high-pressure jets directly on the body).

Is installation complicated? Do I need professional help?

The standard setup is straightforward, and most users can DIY. Key steps are: Installing the Boundary Wire (securing it to the ground to define work area and no-go zones), Setting up the Charging Station (requires a sheltered outdoor outlet), and Device Pairing & Mapping (guiding the robot on its initial boundary tour via the app). 

We provide detailed video guides and manuals. For extremely large or complex estates, we recommend using our professional installation service.

How does the robot handle complex landscapes (flower beds, trees, pathways)?

You have flexible setup options:

  • Physical Boundary Wire: Install permanent exclusion zones around beds or delicate areas during initial setup.

  • App Virtual Settings: On the robot’s map, simply draw “No-Go Zones” or create “Corridors”. The robot will intelligently navigate around them. Multiple sensors (ultrasonic, bump, vision) also ensure it safely avoids temporary obstacles.

Can it mow in the rain?

Yes. The mower features rain delay functionality. When its rain sensor detects precipitation, it will automatically return to the dock and pause. It resumes based on your settings once the rain stops. You can also manually control this via the app.

What safety features are in place, especially for children, pets, and plants?

Safety is our top priority:

  • Immediate Stop: Equipped with impact sensors and a lift sensor; blades stop instantly upon collision or if the mower is picked up.

  • Blade Safety: Uses hidden, pivoting blades that spin only when cutting and retract upon hitting a solid object.

  • Anti-Theft: Built-in GPS tracking and geo-fencing; unauthorized movement triggers an alarm and app alert.

  • Boundary Integrity: Precise boundary wire keeps the mower strictly within its designated area, protecting garden features.

Maintenance, Care & Troubleshooting

What regular maintenance is required?

Maintenance is minimal:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clear grass clippings and debris from the undercarriage.

  • Check & Clean Sensors: Wipe the front and underside sensors periodically.

  • Inspect Blades: Check for wear and replace as needed (typically every season or 2-3 months).

  • End-of-Season: Perform a thorough clean and store the battery as per guidelines.

What if it gets tangled in wires, garden hoses, or debris?

The mower will stop automatically and send an app notification if it detects blade or wheel blockage. Simply clear the obstruction as prompted and tap “Continue” in the app. We recommend a quick visual check of the lawn before mowing to remove large sticks, toys, etc.

How is theft prevented?

We offer multiple layers of security:

  • PIN Code Lock: A PIN is required to start the mower and access the app.

  • GPS Tracking: View real-time location on the app map (subscription may apply).

  • Movement Alarm: Unauthorized movement triggers audible/visual alarms and app alerts.

  • Physical Anchoring: Optional ground anchors or security bolts for the base station and mower.

What is the warranty policy?

We offer a XX-year limited warranty on the mower. Consumables like the battery and blades are covered for XX years. Please see our “Warranty Terms” page for full details. Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, excluding accidental damage or normal wear.

How do I get technical support for an unresolved issue?

How should I store it for winter or long periods of non-use?

At season’s end, we recommend:

  1. Giving the mower a thorough clean and letting it dry.

  2. Charging the battery to approximately 60-80%.

  3. Powering it off and storing the mower (and battery if removable) indoors in a cool, dry place.

  4. Consider scheduling an annual professional maintenance check-up.

Will there be future software updates? Are they free?

Yes. We continuously provide free Over-the-Air (OTA) updates to refine navigation algorithms, enhance obstacle avoidance, and introduce new features. Your purchase includes ongoing software improvements at no extra cost.
